I am glad to announce that my car, VIN 001472, is now ready for the roads. It passed the road inspection without notes (TÜV) yesterday.
Originally the body was in a very bad shape but was restored to a high standard by the former owner, Gunnar Eckerdal.
I was able to buy the car in December 2004. Ever since, I was collecting spare parts and doing some minor work on it.
The final started on June 7-06 and I have spent all time ever since in the garage.
The result is good and tomorrow we will join a vetran rally organised by our veteran club.
Finally, I want to forward my thanks to all who helped me during this time. Without all of you and the Glas Club, the car would not be ready nor be in this nice shape.
