Lenkrad fest/Steering wheel stuck

Hi Everyone:
On my GT Coupe, I want to take off the steering wheel to replace the turn signal switch. I took off the clear plastic Glas logo on top of the horn button cover, but I can't get the black plastic cap that surrounds the horn off. It's as if it were glued on. It should just pull off, but it won't.
Does anyone have any ideas?

Ich moechte den Blinker-Schalter an meinem GT Coupe ersetzen. Ich habe die klare Kappe mit dem Glas Markenzeichen auf dem Hornknopf herabgenommen. Aber die schwarze kunststoffe Kappe rund um die Hupe am Lenkrad wird nicht herab. Es ist, als ob sie angeklebt waere. Hat jemand einen Vorschlag, wie ich die Kappe am Lenkrad herabnehmen koennte?

to replace the flasher switch, you must

1.) remove the horn button
2.) open the Main screw fixing the steering wheel, push the horn cable
into th steering shaft
3.) pull the steering wheel from the steering shaft - use a puller and
make 2 hooks by yourself (based on screws) fitting into the 2 holes
at the base of the steering wheel
TAKE CARE - don't loose spring and washers under the steering
wheel!!
4.) now you see the flasher switch. open the shell with a screwdriver
through the hole in the bottom of the plastic around the steering shaft.

5.) carefully pull the contacts out of the main distributor located under the dashboard (a long plastic strip).

6.) you may now draw the flasher switch with the cables from the steering shaft. Mount a cord at the lower end of the cables to be used for pulling in the cable of the new flasher switch.


Mounting is the reverse of that.
